Luc Estebanez
a cumulation of whiskerpad motion analysis patterns
After spending a year in Carl Petersen Laboratory (EPFL, Lausanne) where I got interested in the behavioral training of rodents, I have started a PhD under joint supervision of Daniel Shulz (UNIC) and Laurent Bourdieu (ENS, Paris).
I am interested in the physiology of the barrel cortex and in the processing occuring in this brain structure.
I am currently working on exploring the treatment of multi-whisker stimulations by the barrel cortex through the developement of a new generation of multiwhisker stimulator and tactile object simulation software.
